Allergic Spectrum

p/w allergic spectrum symptoms.  

Symtpoms: 

rash 

no resp distress, lungs CBTA 

no GI sx 

no hypotension 

Hx: 

No hx of anaphalaxis 

Precipitants 

Unknown 

Suspet precipitants: 

Pt had sore thraot Fri, took PCN, rash on Mon, worse yesterday.  Doubled dose of PCN yesterday.  

Plan: 

Does not meet criteria for analphalaxis. 

No airway compromise/no swelling in throat on exam/no resp distress.  

Suspected allergic rxn. 

More likley PCN allergic rxn. 

No amox, less likely amox 2/2 to mono.  

-benadryl 

-deferred remainder of anaphalaxis rxn at this time. 

-prompt eval by AED team
