conjunctivitis (red eye)

  • Differential includes infectious, inflammatory conjunctivitis 
  • Suspect most likely viral conjunctivitis given no purulent discharge.
  •  Not consistent with bacterial conjunctivitis given no. mucopurulent discharge, non impressive exam.
  • Considered endophthalmitis however not consistent given no vision deficits and otherwise normal examination except for conjunctivitis. 
  • Considered form body however no foreign body sensation per patient and no agency unforeseen exam
  • Considered ulcerative Nesian however no Dendron equation seeing unforeseen exam 
  •  Suggested to patient to do for Shannon exam given possibility of occult unnoticed form body however patient denies history form body and preferred unforeseen exam for which I will Blige given this is not unreasonable.
